The FOUR PAWS Viet Youth Engagement Programme (YEP) is an activity based learning initiative, designed to build awareness among young adults, on wildlife and nature conservation issues that are current and relevant in Vietnam. The total programme runs between 10 to 12 hours and can be structured around 2-3 hour interactions with students, for 4 to 5 days. 

In school year 2021 - 2022 and the following years, we expect to reach out to students who are potentially becoming future conservationists and scientists to give them the realistic picture of Vietnam's current situation in animal welfare and the illegal wildlife trade with hand-in experiences and creative learning methods. 

Our Methods:

• Lectures and workshops with leading experts in the field of animal welfare protection.
• Field trips to the Hanoi Zoo and BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh to practice animal welfare assessment methods
• Creating your first conservation project with experts' consultancy
• Multimedia learning materials and games
